The Firm adapted for Television

John Grisham's bestselling novel The Firm may soon be a TV series. Already sold for international distribution as a series, Deadline.com reports that the TV adaptation is also zeroing in on a deal with a domestic network. Thanks to the international distribution, the series has already been given the green light for 22 episodes, even before talks with NBC began. The television series, adapted by Lucas Reiter, will pick up 10 years after the end of the film The Firm and will follow attorney Mitch McDeere and his family as they emerge from ten years in the Federal Witness Protection Program.
