Casting Update: Doris Kearn Goodwin's Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, currently being adapted by Pulitzer- and Tony-winner Tony Kushner and Oscar winner Stephen Spielberg, is tentatively scheduled for release late in 2012. Daniel Day-Lewis will be playing the famed President Lincoln. Just announced, Sally Field will be playing First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln.
Anyone else curious what the film will look like? With such stars and award winners heading the project, it seems off to a good start.
