Benjamin Franklin Awards
The 23rd annual Benjamin Franklin Awards have honored 152 winners and finalists in 51 categories. The awards are sponsored by the Independent Book Publishers Association. A full list of winners can be found here.
23rd Annual Lambda Literary Awards
This year's awards for excellence in LGBT literature honored recipients in 24 categories. A full list of winners can be found on their website.
PEN/Malmud Award
This year's PEN/Malmud Award for excellence in short fiction has been awarded to Edith Pearlman. Pearlman has authored four collections of short stories, been featured in two anthologies, and has published countless short stories for magazines and literary journals. Her most recent collection, Binocular Vision (Lookout Books) was published in 2011.
2011 Arab American Book Award Winners
This year's winners have been announced for the Arab American Book Awards. The awards are sponsored by the Arab American National Museum.
